Prelicensing Course: ExamFX

Prelicensing courses are offered by many vendors in each state but we have a discounted rate with ExamFX. Follow the instructions below to sign up for your course with our discount.

  • ExamFX Sign Up: Go to ExamFX.
  • Click the Register link in the top right.
  • Your upline/AO should have provided you with an email address to enter under the Special Company Discount Pricing section, enter that email address and click the Next Step button.
  • Select Insurance Prelicensing and your resident state.
  • Select Life and Health Insurance and click the Next Step button.
  • Select the Video Study Package and click the Next Step button.
  • You are not required to purchase any add-ons. Click the Continue button.
  • Click the New User tab to create your account.
  • Fill out your info, agree to the terms & conditions, and enter your payment info.
  • Start studying today! Study tip: Take the end of chapter quizzes first for each section. If you ace a quiz without having reviewed that chapter, it’s not a chapter you need to spend a lot of time studying.
  • Remember, the state exam is pass/fail – whether you pass with a 79 or a 100, you still pass! 
License Application

Do not apply until after you have completed your prelicensing course.

  • Create an account on Florida’s MyProfile system.
  • When applying, select the 2-15 Resident Life Including Variable Annuity & Health Insurance Agent license type.
  • ExamFX will provide FL with proof of your completed course. This information will be linked to your account.

Exam
  • Upon receipt of your application and proof of your completed prelicensing course, you’ll be notified via Florida’s MyProfile site about your authorization to complete the exam.
  • Do not schedule your exam until you receive authorization from FL to do so.
  • Florida insurance exam information can be found here.
  • You’ll need the FLA Health and Life and Annuity (incl Var Contracts) Agent license (0215).
  • Read all the information on their site to ensure you are adequately prepared on your test date.
